ENGL 243 - Studies in Literature and Psychology 3 Credit Hours Exploration of literature through the lens of psychological concepts and theories. Courses might explore issues of trauma, memory, identity, or empathy to ask how the scientific study of the mind can help us understand literature and how literature, in turn, might help us better understand the human mind.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or CRWS 101 or equivalent.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in literature.
