EDUC 375 - Methods and Materials for Teaching Social Sciences in the Elementary Classroom

2 Credit Hours
This course focuses on the methods for teaching social studies, highlighting the challenges of teaching in a diverse society, exploring relevant issues and resources from different perspectives, and engaging students in inquiry opportunities for further exploration of historical and political issues related to social sciences. Field work required.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the teacher education program; sophomore standing or above. Corequisites: EDUC 374  and EDUC 378 .
