MATH 375 - Cryptography

3 Credit Hours
Cryptography is the study of how to protect information. Topics include private key cryptography, such as substitution ciphers, block ciphers, and public key cryptography as well as the mathematical tools to utilize and understand cryptosystems, including divisibility, modular arithmetic, and matrix algebra. MATH 370 OR MATH 375 can count towards a mathematics major/minor (not both). 

Prerequisite(s): MATH 230  or MATH 240  or concurrent enrollment.
