SOC 385 - Critical Theoretical Approaches to Race and Ethnicity 3 Credit Hours This course examines race theory in the United States from a “critical” perspective. It highlights the ideologies, attitudes, behaviors, and structures that produce and maintain racial inequality.

Prerequisite(s): SOC 110 and junior standing, or consent of instructor.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in multicultural studies.
