SOC 230 - Sociology of Gender 3 Credit Hours An examination of how gendered roles and identities are constructed, with an emphasis on the pervasive influence of gender in private and public spheres. Through this course, students will gain an understanding of the diversity and complexity of gendered experiences on the life course, class, race, ethnicity, and sexuality.

This course will satisfy the core area requirement in social sciences and multicultural studies.
