PSYC 247 - Introduction to Art Therapy 3 Credit Hours Art therapy is the therapeutic use of art making, within a professional relationship, by people who experience illness, trauma, or challenges in living, and by people who seek personal development. This course is designed to offer students a didactic and experiential overview of the field of art therapy. Material covered includes history, theory, and practice of art therapy processes, approaches, and applications.
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101
