HIST 242 - Modern Latin America 3 Credit Hours This course is a survey of Latin America since the colonial wars for independence (1810s) to the present. It will examine general trends in the region’s quest for political stability and economic prosperity while highlighting differences in each country’s national culture. This course may be applied to the Latin American history concentration.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or CRWS 101
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in history.
