HIST 328 - Latin American and United States Relations 3 Credit Hours This course examines the political, economic, and cultural components of Latin America’s diplomatic history with the United States from the late colonial period (1700s) and the independence era to the present. The course focuses on the ways Latin American countries individually and collectively have responded to the United States’ growing presence in inter-regional affairs through the 19th and 20th centuries. This course may be applied to the global, Latin American, or United States history concentration.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or CRWS 101
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in history.
