ENGL 289 - U.S. Latino/a Literature 3 Credit Hours Study of U.S. Latino/a literature. Literary texts may focus on the representation of Mexican American, Puerto Rican, Cuban American, Dominican American, and other Latino/a communities of the United States. The course examines the cultural, historical, and aesthetic contexts of Latino/a literature. Texts are in English, although many authors mix English with different varieties of Spanish.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or CRWS 101 or equivalent.
