ENGL 250 - Introduction to Poetry: Powerful Words and Passionate Connections 3 Credit Hours
Poetry through the ages has connected communities, featured storytelling, and created wide-ranging kinds of artistic expression. Students will read and discuss poetry from various eras and national and global traditions, including contemporary performance poetry and spoken word.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or CRWS 101 or equivalent.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in literature.
