ENGL 246 - Telling Lives 3 Credit Hours What good does it do to hear then tell the life stories of other people? It helps us learn who we are: where we come from and where we live now, how to dream and how to face adversity. In this course, students will study collections, both old and new, of stories people tell about their lives, taking from that study not only information about others’ lives but an understanding of ways in which writing gives shape and meaning to experience.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or CRWS 101 or equivalent.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in literature.
