PSYC 440 - History and Systems of Psychology 3 Credit Hours Where did the discipline of psychology come from? Where is it going? Why has there been friction between scientists and practitioners of psychology for over 100 years? This course will cover the historical development of major psychological theories and systems. Such areas as psychoanalysis, behaviorism, and biopsychology will be covered. This course satisfies the capstone requirement for the psychology major.
Prerequisite(s): Twenty-one hours of psychology credit, including PSYC 290 and PSYC 291 , and junior or senior standing.
