ENGL 287 - Contemporary Multiethnic U.S. Literature 3 Credit Hours Study of multiethnic U.S. literature with a particular emphasis on modern and contemporary U.S. writers. By examining a variety of texts by writers from diverse backgrounds, students will trace the ways in which U.S. writers have represented intersections of race, gender, ethnicity, language, class, and nation in literature.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or CRWS 101 or equivalent.
