PSYC 315 - Research and Practice in Developmental Psychology Credit Hours 3 How do psychologists study change in children’s, adolescents’ and adults’ cognition and behavior over time? This course will provide an opportunity to explore multiple methods of inquiry - quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods, used by researchers and practitioners in developmental psychology. Students will learn how to conduct Piaget style interviews with children and adolescents, code qualitative transcripts, and/or conduct discourse and factor analysis.
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 290 and any one introductory developmental course (PSYC 215 or PSYC 220 or PSYC 225 ).
