Credit Hours4This one month clinical course provides the physician assistant student with the opportunity to gain experience in a specific area of interest. Areas of interest are chosen from a variety of surgical, family medicine, or internal medicine specialties or subspecialties. The student will be able to recognize conditions treatable by these specialties so they can refer patients appropriately and/or work in a supportive role for such specialists.
