BMS 492 - Histology Credit Hours 3 Histology is the study of microscopic anatomy dealing with the structures of cells, tissues and organs in relation to their function. The course deals with the four basic tissue types: epithelium; connective tissues, including blood, bone and cartilage; muscles and nerves. It also covers the basic functions of these structures. Variable semesters.
Prerequisite(s): BMS students only or permission of the BMS program director.
