POSC 262 - Politics and Film Credit Hours 3 This course will consider the relationship between politics and film, whether in government propaganda or in the director’s depiction of a contemporary issue. Hollywood’s view of the world will be compared to the views portrayed by directors in other countries and cultures. Political issues such as war and peace, race relations, culture vs. economics, will be studied. Films and focus will vary.
