SWK 723 - Clinical Practice, Treatment Plan Intervention with Military Population

Current theories of treatment and intervention with ServiceMembers,Veterans and their Families(SMVF) are identified. A biopsychosocial approach is used to address treatment planning and intervention for the SMVF individual and/or family system. A culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach is applied to mental health treatment. Students will integrate traditional and complementary alternative treatments into their practice. Intervention efficacy by specific SMVF populations in mental health, medical, business, or educational organizations is determined. This is an 8-week online course.
