SWK 659 - Master’s Research Project 6 hours
This course is designed to assist students who take the research project option to fulfill their graduation requirement. It is organized as an individual study, in which the students meets with a faculty member who becomes the research project advisor. The format allows the student to explore existing research literature on a chosen topic, explore the state of current knowledge, the practice implications of a selected topic, and to formulate a proposal which conforms to prevailing standards of scientific inquiry, professional requirements from social work, and the structure and requirements of Dominican University.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisites: All 500 level courses and SWK 612
