NSC 106 - Integrated Principles of Physics, Chemistry, and Astronomy 4 hours This multidisciplinary course explores foundational concepts in the physical sciences (physics and chemistry) and promotes understanding of how the interactions between matter and energy apply to concepts in astronomy and other areas of scientific study. Lab investigations will support topics explored in the lecture class meetings as well as provide opportunities for students to understand and differentiate between scientific and engineering processes for answering research questions. Lecture and lab.
Prerequisite(s): Acceptance in the Teacher Education Program.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in natural sciences.
