HIST 345 - The Urban Experience in the United States since 1800
This course explores the historical development of cities in the United States focusing upon the interaction between the urban environment and the inhabitants and exploring reasons for the growth and development of cities as well as how this growth influenced culture. Focus will be placed on Chicago. (3 hours)

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102 or consent of department.
