THEA 257 - Group Performance of Literature



Working with various forms of literature, students will be introduced to methods for adapting these for performance. Additional focus on techniques for developing performance skills include storytelling, improvisation, and characterization. Each student will develop a repertoire of pieces by working on individual and collaborative projects. All students will participate in a final, public performance of selected projects. The course requires some rehearsal time outside of class. (3 hours)

This course will satisfy the fine arts core area requirement.
