CIS 120 - Introduction to Computer Applications


An introduction to computer applications and their use in today’s world. This course emphasizes a hands-on approach and uses some of the leading software applications available for personal computers today. Major topics include word processing, spreadsheets, and database management systems. The course also covers creating web pages, presentation software, and publishing software. (3 hours)

Prerequisite(s): MATH 120  or placement above MATH 120 .
