THEA 350 - Images of Woman in Drama


Students will study the roles and conflicts of women in diverse cultures as these are embodied in dramatic world literature from the ancient Greeks to the present. Thematic units will include woman as legend, as mother, as victim, and as feminist. Attendance at theatre productions is required. (3 hours)

This course will satisfy the literature core area requirement.
