SPAN 231 - Spanish Language and Culture for Heritage Speakers
This is an intermediate level language course designed specifically for heritage speakers to address their particular linguistic needs. The course objectives will be to advance fluency in the formal use of language in all areas (writing, speaking, reading, and listening comprehension), and to investigate the cultural aspects of Spanish heritage language experiences in the United States. This course includes an off-campus service learning experience. (4 hours)
Prerequisite(s): Speakers of Spanish, subject to placement exam or consent of instructor.
This course will satisfy the multicultural core requirement.
