SOC 362 - Research Methods



Capstone course that teaches the skills to critically evaluate and conduct social science research. Course topics include the fundamentals of social science research, research design, data collection, measurement, and analysis. Students will be exposed to the basic techniques of both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis. The course includes a mandatory laboratory component. (4 hours)

Prerequisite(s): SOC 110  and junior standing, or consent of instructor. Sociology and Criminology majors only.
