EDUC 220 - Psychology and Foundations of Learning

Introductory and cross-disciplinary examination of theories and research in the psychology of human learning, development, and motivation. Major content areas include: human development and diversity; learning theory (behavioral, cognitive, individual and social constructive); motivation (behavioral, cognitive, and socio-emotional); classroom management and classroom community; learning styles and modes, multiple intelligences. Fieldwork required.
