MGMT 461 - Managing Diversity 3 Credit Hours The focus of the course is to help students develop an ability to understand, respect, and value similarity and diversity among people as well as how group composition affects and in turn gets affected by the workplace context. Issues related to discrimination, affirmative action, and cultural dynamics are explored; historical, legal, psychological, and sociological viewpoints are highlighted.
Prerequisite(s): MGMT 301
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in multicultural studies.
