MATH 160 - Mathematics for the Elementary Teacher

3 Credit Hours
An introduction to numeration systems, sets, logic, relations, number systems, and geometry.

Prerequisite(s): Placement through examination or MATH 120 . Open only to students seeking certification in elementary education. Completion of a geometry course at the high school level. 

This course will satisfy the core area requirement in mathematics.
