MUS 129 - Rudiments of Music Theory and Composition

3 hours
This course is designed for the students who have no formal training in music. It explores basic note reading in the treble and bass clefs, time signatures, intervals, basic rhythm, and key signatures. Students will learn to identify, understand, and implement these basic concepts in their own compositions.

This course will satisfy the core area requirement in fine arts.
