SWK 720 - Military Culture, Customs and Traditions

1.5 hours
This course will provide students with the military’s historical and culture patterns as it relates to working with Service Members,Veterans and their Families(SMVF). Command structure, uniform policy, core traditions, values, and language will be differentiated between service branches. Students will learn how the military builds identity and cohesion through simulation exercises. Awareness of social stigmas associated within military/civilian systems will be developed. This is a 4-week online course.
