LIS 885 - Cultural Heritage Resources and Services 3 hours Students are introduced to the principles and concepts necessary for working with and managing cultural heritage resources and services. They learn the methods and tools for organizing, exhibiting, and preserving cultural heritage resources, documenting communities, and connecting them to resources and services. They become acquainted with security and disaster preparedness, donor relationships, funding and grants, and other administrative, cultural, political, legal, and ethical issues as related to cultural heritage resources. Offered in summer.
Prerequisite(s): LIS 701, LIS 703, LIS 704
