NURS 434 - Nursing of the Childbearing Family

3, 1 hours
Focuses on the application of professional nursing concepts related to holistic care of the childbearing family and their neonate. Theoretical content includes physiological, pathophysiological, sociocultural, and ethical concepts. Student clinical experiences take place in the simulation laboratory and variety of obstetrical settings. Lecture (3 hrs) and clinical rotation (1 hr) must be completed concurrently.
