Whether from the perspective of wellness or disease control, health care can be complicated to navigate. This introductory class will examine the various models of health care communication, marketing, quality assessments, regulatory oversight groups, dealing with patient complaints, methods for measuring patient satisfaction, disability and the medical model, and culture and diversity in healthcare.
