MUS 122 - Private Voice Instruction
Individual instruction in voice at the beginning to intermediate levels. The student and voice teacher will explore solo singing techniques, identify and solve vocal issues that may not be readily apparent in choral rehearsals or theatre productions, and build confidence in self expression through song. This class is open to all students, with the consent of the instructor, based upon a prior evaluation/assessment. Extensive musical knowledge is not required; however, the assessment will determine if a student is ready for one-on-one, private vocal instruction. (1-2 hours)
Prerequisite(s): Instructor assessment and consent.
