MFL 153 - Culture and Language, Focus on Spain and Latin America
This course will enable students to understand the ways in which people use language to define themselves and their relations with others. Through the exploration of other cultures, students will gain greater awareness of cultural differences and the skills and strategies necessary to communicate across these differences. This course will explore the cultures of Spain and Latin America. Not open to students who have completed MFL 151 , MFL 152 . (3 hours)
