LAS 282 - Examining Our Journey Through Life


This sophomore seminar will examine three major processes that we go through during our life: birth, death, and parenting. We will use a family perspective to explore how different cultures experience rituals regarding each of these processes. Students will compare and contrast their own family rituals to understand how they evolved and how they are sustained. (3 hours)
